Scalp photos
If you upload scalp photos to get an AI graft-count estimate, they are sent directly to our AI model for analysis and are never stored on our servers — not before, during, or after analysis. Once the estimate is returned to you, the images are discarded. We don't build a database of user photos, and we don't use your photos to train any model.
Information we collect
Beyond the photos described above (which aren't retained), GetGraftCount collects very little:
- Standard web analytics (Google Analytics) — anonymized/aggregated usage data like page views and general location, used only to understand traffic and improve the site. No account or sign-in is required to use GetGraftCount.
- Optional clinical notes you type into the cost calculator (e.g. age, concerns) are sent to the AI model alongside your photos for context, and are not stored afterward, same as the photos.
- ChatGPT App inputs: if you use GetGraftCount's cost calculator or Norwood-stage lookup through ChatGPT, the only data sent is whatever you ask (e.g. a graft count number or a stage like "5") — no personal information is required or collected by these tools.
We don't collect names, emails, payment information, or any other personally identifying information, and we don't sell or share data with third parties beyond the standard Google Analytics processing described above.
Third-party services
GetGraftCount uses an AI model (to analyze scalp photos) and Google Analytics (standard site analytics). Neither is used to build a profile of you beyond normal, aggregated web analytics.
Children's privacy
GetGraftCount is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.
