How does the 3D calculator work?

The head is divided into five recipient zones that surgeons already use when planning a transplant: the frontal hairline, left and right temples, mid-scalp, and the crown. Each zone has its own typical graft count based on its size and the density needed for natural-looking coverage there. Click the zones that match your own hair loss and the totals add up live.

Why start with regions instead of a Norwood stage?

Real hair loss rarely matches a textbook Norwood photo exactly — you might have temple recession without any crown thinning, or the reverse. Selecting your own combination of regions gives a more tailored starting estimate than picking the single closest-looking stage photo.
